I ordered from Huddersfield online and they drop shipped to Mina in Naples.

All will be done up as SB 3R2, with the only variance with the pockets. 0505 will be a blazersuit and will have three patch pockets, 0501 will have flapped besom as well as a ticket pocket, 0509 will be standard flapped besom.

Thank you. Looking forward to seeing the finished results.

For Bay Area peeps, Mina will be in San Francisco this Thursday to Saturday.

No problemo. I couldn't help but peek inside the box... the brown-gray flannel is gorgeous.

No worries at all; I'm pretty excited about that one. Was the other a brown PoW? Feel free to snap pics and post either here or the cloth thread, I may as well make sure they sent you the right stuff!

I am looking forward to seeing my suit and jacket in progress on Saturday. But most of all, I'm contemplating something new and fun.....

Incidentally, I shipped to lengths of suitings to Mina using USPS and as far as I can tell, they're stuck in Italian Customs. If anyone has tips about how to get them out, I'm all ears. I have learned to have them shipped directly to her from the manufacturer in the future.

I've had to wait 4 days or so for my stuff to clear customs. I wouldn't worry if it's just been a day or two.

Mina is working on some basic items for me now. It is time to try something that is a bit more expressive. At her last visit she had a nice brown with purple windowpane. But a shepherd check would be nice as well. I will wait and see what she has in her fabric books.

I'd like to get my hands on some shepherd check as well, Cucinelli shepherd check is what I want but I wasn't able to find it,it is probably exclusive to them. Would be interested if you find anything close to it. Oh yeah, pictures!!

I picked up my first bespoke from her and Dino this weekend. Really pleased with it, I'm no expert like many of the others on the forum, but I thoroughly enjoyed the process and the final product.

It's a mid-grey suit with jetted pockets (no flaps), unlined and light as a feather. I will admit it's strange to go from high-quality RTW to bespoke, it almost doesn't feel like it fits right but I think that's because it fits so well if that makes sense. I turned all styling over to her, it feels very elegant...she really nailed it.

Also had a first fitting on two sports coats that she's working on. I'll post pics when I get a chance but one is a Loro Piana shepard check that may be of interest to the poster above. It's lighter in colour and weight than the Brunello (which I have) but has a lot of visual interest. The other is a blue (glen plaid?) that Dino picked out. He's got more style than I do so I've got trust in his eye.

I've read lots on the forum about the bespoke process and followed the various discussions/disagreements over points of style and technical matters with interest (at least those that I could understand). For me it's been nothing but pure enjoyment. They're lovely people, I appreciate doing business with them and couldn't be happier with the product. It's just neat to be around people who have craft, who have passion and who have pride in what they do. I'd recommend the experience to anybody with a passing interest in clothes. Fascinating stuff.
