carol christian poell makes a boot with a rubberband, now augusta has to make a boot with a rubberband... they look totally different, but still. I don't think augusta (or avanticincotitredeuxquarante) really has a vision. Just turns out ccp/carpe diem look alikes and everything that doesn't look alike is scattered. Some cool, clearly well made offerings, but no real aesthetic in place.

It's just one name officially " A Diciannoveventitre". He had changed from Augusta to A1923 (for A/W 2010) to A Diciannoveventitre" (present). There was some kind of legal issue with the Augusta name ( I think )

Those front zip boots from A diaonkjvxnkfeinjasdkn on the previous page are nice, much better than those weird Guidi front zips. I still really want, but will never be able to afford, a pair of Augusta derbies.

You see some old season or recent season ones on ebay and sz for ~500-600. Just a matter of waiting for your size and one that appeals to you. I'm sad I missed out on a pair of white/bone ones on ebay that went for ~600 after fees that were my size and from I think 09
