You shouldn't take fit pics with your hands in your pockets. Makes them look like hammer pants.
Suede Shoes in summer? I see a LOT of guys on here sporting lace up suede shoes with their summer wear - even with suits. Now, my father would tell you that this is a TOTAL tabu - but given the fact that I see so much of it out there is it fair to say that this taboo is officially lifted? I admit I like the look and I realize that we've all been wearing suede slip ons (driving shoes and loafers) in the summer for a LONG time. And the traditional white bucks with red soles certainly are acceptable with a sport coat and trousers. I'm just struggling with whether or not it's really acceptable now to wear lace up beige or light brown suede shoes with a summer suit.
Might be regional too. Bucks have been the southern suiting summer shoes for a long time.

Hi, everyone. I just visited a tailor to order a custom suit. Now at home, I'm thinking, if I often wear slim belts, should I tell him to make the belt holder narrower? Or just leave it normal to make it more versatile? I'm afraid slim belt would look weird on a normal sized belt holder. Thanks. A quick reply would be appreciated.

Exactly how wide are these 'slim' belts?

I assume you're planning on wearing it untucked? Personally I'd recommend keeping it tucked in, it looks better and it's the right length for that. If wearing untucked then the length should come to maybe an inch or two past the waistband of your trousers. I'd also recommend getting smaller cuffs, the sleeves shouldn't fall as far over your hands as they are.

Tanks for the reply.
The cuffs are open, they don't fall over my hands if they are closed.

Are there shirts you can wear both tucked in and untucked?
I guess you can't tuck a shirt in your trousers comfortably if its only two inches past the waistband.

Got a MTM shirt from indochino, not sure if the fit around the wrist is too big. Thoughts?

Also: I'm aware that outfit is incredibly boring/ uninspired. In my defense, it was almost summer.

I received a $300 gift card at Men's Warehouse, and... I need help. I could get Allen Edmond's, but I'm actually SW&D guy and I'm not sure if they'd look good with jeans (I'd imagine its hard to make these shoes look bad). Here's their AE selection: http://tinyurl.com/425r94e

Other roadblocks: Clarks Desert boots are the rubber soles... yuck. Also, much of everything else is not slim fit. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Today I picked up a Thom Browne suit from a Neimen Marcus Last Call outlet at an extremely heavy discount with the intent to sell it on here and if I can't get back what I paid just return it. I know very little about his stuff so I was wondering if anyone could give me a little info on the suit. I have attached a few quick pictures. In general I'm looking for if there is any characteristics that makes this out of the ordinary from his usual suits that I occasionally see on here. As far as I can tell it ha no defects, bnwt w/msrp of 5.3k, a bit old from spring 2008 but handmade in USA, 2 button 3 roll and a normal color. If there is anything unusal with the cut or anything that you can see from the pictures and think I should include in the listing it would be appreciated if you let me know!

Here are a few quick simple pictures-
