+1. MTO group buyers don't shake, MTO group buyers hug.

Yeah lets get back to group buying! What's next? I'd be interested in a Monkey shoe or that Straight tip two tone that I posted earlier

Yeah good to hear the group has regrouped again....
I'll be out for business trip next week so I might not be responding that fast. If you have design that you want people to join, just post it with enough details like in 1st post, or create mockup drawing like Wes Bourne's. I'll consolidate later.

rkusmant, maybe you discussed again the price of bulk collaborations with TSH?
Richard told me last week Tricker's increased its prices lately. He said he could maintain the given prices (325/270GBP) for backorders and current collaborations, but what about future projects?

I would be down for some sort of monkey boot. I was thinking of something like:

Black Pebble grain 9/10 eyelet boot
White calf 'laces counter'
White laces
Brass eyelets
Natural sole edge
Commando sole
Red calf lining
White pull tab

So it'll be in this color scheme:
Trickers-for-Wastetwice-Fall-_-Winter-2010-Capsule-Collection-05.jpg
I think black suede as the tongue will be better than white.

^ Still think we should do an order for those longwing boots in that scheme with the white suede tongue. Or maybe red suede and red pulls.

That's not what I meant. I mean something like this

But taller and with the orange bit as white with white laces. Almost like a converse. With this colour sole edge dressing and this tall

Trickers going nuts with their pricing. I like them alot, but tbh it's starting to make sense looking at other options. Alfred Sargent bespoke (not just MTO) at their trunk shows is something like 350gbp (for the exclusive line) and hell, Vass is about at the same price point in europe.

It's getting ridiculous.

Well, AS Exclusives going to be gbp500 soon so they aren't getting affordable by comparison. I asked Richard if they will have bulk order deals similar to Tricker's. Also the rumor says that they might modify their Veldtschoen line so I personally want to grab what they have now for the Veldt line. If there's enough interest I'll create/split the thread for AS.

I'd be interested in seeing what's possible MTO for AS.

From what I've seen on their blog, there's not much they can't do.

Yeah, that's true. I probably should have worded my original response better, what I meant to say was that I was interested to know what exact MTO make-ups are being considered by SF for AS. rkusmant has already PM'd me with the options, so we are good.
