Had a meeting with a client in Bethesda today, so I took the afternoon and popped over to Bruno Cipriani. Walked out with this...

Not to rain on anybody's parade, but I can't understand what is good about this. Pattern doesn't match across placket, sloppy stitching on buttons, curling collars, rippled fabric across placket? Can somebody enlighten me please?

Very. I actually needed to move up to a 16.5, and it's very form fitted on the shoulders and arms. That said I've found Partenopia sizing to vary from year to year so YMMV.

Thanks. Not sure of the material, I picked it from a book with mixed suppliers. As for Carlo Riva though, Mina recently stopped using them because they increased prices to ridiculous levels. For my latest commission I picked a Canclini fabric.
