What seems to be in now/ would you guys recommend?
Leather Belts vs Braided Belts

Liking the "Tanner Goods Double Tongue Belts" but really only want to spend < $20 on a belt.

You can't get anything good in either belt type for $20.

Minimum one would spend then?
When talking about belts, is "good" defined for the look of it?

I think a good belt would be at least $80. "Good" as in the quality of the leather and the construction. A cheap belt might look like a more expensive one, until you feel the poor quality leather and it falls apart after a few uses. Spend a bit more and a good belt will last forever. I have both regular leather and braided belts, so its up to your own personal perference.

I've been posting my pieces for some time on Sufu (*under the same name, check the PYC leathercraft thread on supershopper), havent quite established myself on here yet. Just takes some time. And, superlurking.

I dont have access to a double prong in a 1.5 size, but I do in a 2.0. I could make the belt slightly thinner than the buckle like Tanner does. Of course, I also can use single prong rollers. I have testimonials on other sites that I can send you too, I'm legit.

You can also look into getting a custom belt. There are tons of guys out there who make gun holsters who do belts as well. They tend to be double thickness but the guy who made mine would make pretty much any style. They may not be as refined as others but the leather is top quality and they will last forever.

I'm pretty sure one of the hallmark igent moves is to make your own 1 hole belt.
