Reviving this thread: Does anyone have a tailor they like on the Upper West Side? I have some simple jobs (hemming pants, taking in waist) and one rather complex one (taking in sports coat and possibly slimming the shoulders)

I've lost some weight and went from a 42R to a 40R and hope to be able to wear some of my larger sport coats. Figured I'd start with one and see if it's worth the $$.

Thanks in advance.

Peter

Presumably by now this is old news but I've also user Anthony on 74th for simple stuff and he's fine. He also took in a SC waist for me, no problem. Slimming shoulders is a more complex job though. Cant say yes or no.
