The guys that work at Sherman Bro's are a bunch of elitist jerks. Anyone else have this experience?

Quite the opposite - I deal with Ken Sherman in Haverford and he couldn't be better to deal with - which location do you interact with?

Not really, I did have one salesman never call me back about EE suede chukkas, but he was very helpful up until that point.

I wouldn't say jerks, they are really nice at Haverford. But I am a little miffed by me telling them my foot didn't feel right in a certain size, yet they told me to live with it. I probably will push a lot harder to get what I want next time with them.

I have tried to find a particular shoe on occasion from them and have been happy with the service

FWIW, I am a UK8 on the C&J 337 and 348 last and the same on Carmina's Inca last. Any suggestions or recommendation?

YMMV, I haven't owned any of these lasts but I've tried on both the 337 and the Inca. Those are all relatively wide fitting lasts, and UK8 is generally 8.5 to 9 US, so I think you should do well with Barrie 8D or 8.5D. On a narrower more true to size last like Plaza you probably want to try a 9D, maybe even a 9E.
