To be honest, to my eye the look the same. It's only on my feet that I can tell a difference.

Is Bureau taking VAT off for US buyer? Anyway the Eaton group buy for August is a go, wait for email on midweek.

Yes, the Bureau takes off VAT. Their shipping is 35gbp. They ship fedex overnight. I haven't received a bill from fedex for customs/brokerage fees. I seem to recall some one mentioning that the level of service they use includes brokerage fees so maybe the 35gbp isn't too bad.

I should warn you, some others whose opinion I trust (Get Smart, Tom at LS) say only go down one half size from Barrie.

Those STP shoes (Paisleys) are not on the 4444 or 4497 last. I forget offhand which last they're on but they're not as big as the 4444 or 4497. I ordered from STP based on my 4444/4497 size and whilte they fit okay with a thin dress sock, if I had it to do again, I'd have ordered a larger size.

More sizing food-for-thought: I recently purchased 10.5D UK Stow boots from Leather Soul. I love the look of the boots but I'd probably size up to an 11D UK for my next pair because there's a bit too much pressure on my heel. There's a little less than 3/8ths inch in front of my longest toe and the shoe itself is plenty wide. For comparison: Brannock: Between 11.5 and 12 (both feet same size and width) Asics running shoes: own both 11.5 and 12 Alden: 11D Truebalance and 11.5E Leydon - both fit perfectly Wolverine 1000 Mile: 11D fits perfectly Chucks: 10.5 if I'm not wearing socks, 11 if I'm wearing socks Quoddys: 11D Maliseet Oxfords and 11.5D Bluchers CP Achilles Low: 44 for a snug fit, 45 for a loose fit... overall, the 44 fits better Clark DBs: 11 PF Flyers: 11.5 Conventional wisdom would suggest that the 10.5UK would be good fit, but I'm pretty sure the 11UK would be much better. I guess I won't know until I order my next pair

****, I thought I had it settled. I guess I'm just going to have to get a pair and take it from there. That, or travel several thousand klicks to try on some footwear.

I sized down one half size on my Stows (4497 last) and while they fit great length wise, they are a little wide (5 fitting). However they arent big enough to size down a full size

Just get my Froswick from Herring, UPS charge me for $27, the delivery guy just say COD, no other explanation. I guess it's the customs fee?

Bummer on the UPS charge. I haven't had to pay anything for my Froswick order. At least not yet.

I asked Richard and he'll allow group pricing for regular price if we have 6 ppl, just post your design and see if anyone will join.

I'm very tempted to join the Coffee Eaton group MTO buy, but have had the following make-up in mind for a while. If other's are interested, and if cool with rkusmant, perhaps we could set up a group order as well.

Navy Calf Bourton
Red Dainite Sole
Red Calf Lining
Natural Barbour Welt
Brass Eyelets

Basically these, but with brass eyelets and red Dainite sole:

Ok, looking for more people to join this slightly different Eaton MTO. Big thanks to rkusmant for offering to help organize this.

Pretty much exactly as in the above pictures but with the following changes, Eyelets, Full Brass Eyelets all the way. Sole, Dainite Sole in Black. I think the Burgundy Burnished colour is just beautiful. PM me if your interested! Shaun.
