P.S. any feedback on the fit and balance of the coat would be helpful as I plan on another order with these tailors but feel this isn't quite there yet?

TITFD Tuesday.
Predictions for the day: I expect that Manton will not favor my socks; that ed will dislike my gunboats; and that fritzl will recommend that I relegate them to denim-wear-only.

Excuse the poor colors and B/W fit pic, but it's overcast today and my phone camera doesn't perform well under flourescent lights. The colors in the third photo are the most true to life.

Re TTO: I rather like the whole fit; it strikes me as quite English. The tie I don't love, but it's in the spirit of the thread and I'm with Ed on the shoes - they are excellent.

Also excellent is the woman's reaction in the 2nd photo.

Re Lufty: Das fit ist krieg. You are the sack king.

Looks like it has a short front to me. Also, I like the tie a lot.

Lufty, my only quibble is the lack of cuffs.

My quibble too. But unfortunately the previous owner did a hack job on the trou so cuffs aren't a possibility.

Not trying to cause any argument but are bowties in outfits outside of tuxedos considered conservative business dress? I don't mean historically but rather in this day and age. I think in Korea even I'd get reamed for that; despite peak lapels going unnoticed.

(Like your fit though Org, though I think your proportions are off with jacket/trouser... jacket might be a little long... like a hair or something).

luft I think you're doing great, socks aside (thought I have no idea why you took a b/w pic)

actually the b/w pic is great because it makes you appreciate the cut of everything (another great sack) and the repp tie/longwings complete the Americana conservative business dress vibe, even though I dilike the gunboats. For me, at that point the color pic can only be a let down.
