Bris, are those shoes E width and on 82 last? I assume they are. They have my size and I am very tempted.

How is 82 compared to 888 last? Wider or same width? 888 doesn't work for me and I never tried 82.

82 and 888 are supposed to fit the same.

The 82 is more narrow towards the front/toes but still fits me better than the 888.

I hope not, I always thought 82 is little roomier even though it is modified 888. I think bris has a pair on 888 as well so I wonder what his experience is.

But is it wider than 888? 888 is usually too narrow for me, I hope 82 will fit me better.

FWIW I have a D width on the 888 (size 12.5/13) and an E on the 82 (size 12/12.5). They both fit the same width-wise.

Did you purchase 12 or 12H? I am 10.5/11, trying to figure out what I should get, I think I should get 10H as sizes must be UK.

Just to add a data point... I wear both the 82 and 888 lasts in 9/9.5 E. I find the fit to be the same.

Is it a trick question? Was looking for cracks, but creases aren't there either!
