I actually really like your style! I do have one question with this outfit, is the pocket watch just for show? Do you actually for show given you have a wristwatch as well. It reminds me of wearing braces and a belt at the same time (though these two items are much better)

Absolutely nothing boring about this. Nice, clean, smooth, and simple. (my first go at the Oxford comma)

Had a job interview that same day at 11:00 am and I just got notified today that I was hired and I will be heading to Abu Dhabi in the U.A.E. the first week in March. I am excited and can not wait to leave. Anyone here ever lived/worked in Abu Dhabi? Now my input for the blue challenge.

I really tell time by the wrist watch, though the pocket watch (a mechanical) is set and wound every time that I wear the watch chain (the compass, chain and watch all have sentimental value - the watch was a recent present from a dear friend, and the chain and compass were found among my late father's effects after his death). At the very least, the pocket watch counterbalances the compass, and makes the drape of the watch chain look good.

And, my ex-gf lived almost directly above from where your photo was taken. Was just there for lunch at the Osteria Mocenigo a couple of weeks ago. And for the best gelato in town, Gelateria San Stae is a very worthy rival to GROM, imo.

Is that a Porter bag sitting on that chair? If so, how do you find it?

Thank you. I'm generally a fan of Porter briefcases. Their aesthetic is something that takes a little while to "get" but it really grows on you. That briefcase is new, I bought it for a colleague of mine at the store, I use a different one. I've had a few Porters over the years, always sturdy, understated (if a little offbeat) and functional.
