I have to say, I'm surprised by the Indianapolis love. I've never been there or heard anyone mention it one way or the other. Interesting.
Indianapolis, even when I was a kid, was basically urban sprawl and ugly and had a lot of pretty nasty areas. The last 10 years or so it has really built up. It has more than one nice restaurant in the great metro area, less violence and crime, and although it's still relatively spread out, it isn't as bad as it was. It's a pretty fun city considering its size.
