70k salary excluding bonus comp, which was another 25k (for four months work).

$33k 2008. Dont make much more but I live in Texas in a medium/small town so my rent/bills are $350 a month and its 8-5 low stress.

As to you, youngin. If the job is in the field that you want to stay in and can lead to greater things, I would say grab it.
33K is not a whole lot but the COL in Albany must be real different than NYC. And if you carry the torch and become a corrupt NY state elected official one day, you know we would all be very proud of you.

Mine was a bit under 40k during my year between undergrad and JD/MBA program. As a liberal arts student, I thought it was pretty generous since I didn't have any skills.
