yeah but these and Mantellassi fit me as close as a shoe could possibly fit. I could wear these unlaced and they would not move from my foot. They were about $400

Very nice shoe collection. I checked out you with Roy Hargrove's big band in Montreal last summer.

This is the best way of creating a great shoe collection on a budget. The downside is it's often pot luck as to what turns up...

Thanks for explanation, much appreciated.

Did you get these in the US or can they only be purchased in the UK from the factory store?

Could any MCers comment on dressier winter boot options / solutions for dealing with winter weather / budget beater boots that could be retrofitted with a lug sole? There is a thread going on in SW&D but the suggestions are each more horrendous than the next. More class is needed. And no, having your chauffeur drive you from point to point, thereby avoiding salted sidewalks is not an option

I like them, I assume that given luk cha's shoe collection that these are for a specific purpose (dressy casual, jeans etc). I prefer this type of shoe moreso than the over stylized stuff that luk posts but again, he seems to have quite a number of shoes for different occasions and appreciates different styles/lasts.

A lot of these PTBs remind me of postman/policeman shoes.

Not saying, just saying.

Now that I looked them up on the Lodger website, I'm a lot less interested - all yours
