Were their tallywackers intact?

These are the most comfortable, softest cheap sheets I've had, made of modal and cotton by Pure Beech... I think they're exclusive to BBB:

I also got some cotton-linen blend sheets on sale ($50 for a queen set) from Crate & Barrel last summer which are awesome, but they have been discontinued since

I buy most of my bedding on overstock. Just look for cotton in a high thread count, say 300 or higher, they often carry up to 600, not even sure how relevant all that is but the stuff I get is cheap, reliable, and soft enough for me. Cheap cheap cheap. Overstock also has a lot of reviewers so you can usually get decent enough advice on what to buy and what to pass on.

Have you looked into Peruvian alpaca/cashmere blend? They go for about $75 a pop. Should last a good 9 months or so. And you don't have to hand wash them as they're dry clean only.

I like my set of Thomas Lee sheets. I don't remember what I paid for them, but they're nice and comfy.

TC is misleading and I don't trust the average consumer's opinion, either because they don't know any better or because they review the sheets fresh out of the package after it had been washed with commercial fabric softeners.

To me sheets are something you should throw out every 6 months. So I just get those cheap egyptian cotton sheets in the mall. 2 sets every 6 months, $80 a year. Works for me.

I am not a baller and don't make a million a year. I might make 200k but really I put 150k back into business so I can make 300k next year. Maybe in 5 years I can afford to spend 5k a year on sheets. Right now I can't.

5K a year on sheets?
Why would anyone do that? I bought my sheets at bloomingdales. They are incredibly soft and comfortable for sleeping. They have held up well over the past three years. I have three sets that I rotate every two weeks. I really should change them once a week, but I'm too lazy and my girl friend is really good at making my bed, and she kind enough to do it for me.
