About five years ago, I saw some guys in Rome wearing shirts with not just two buttons at the collar, but three. (It helped to accommodate the big-ass knots then in style.)

It made them look like fops.

These shoes do the same thing.

I attended a Bontoni trunk show a couple weeks ago at Lawrence Covell. They were heavily pushing the Excelsior (it's going to be featured in Esquire magazine apparently), but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it, although I did order two pairs of other models.
