The zippers on american apparel hoodies are absolute trash.

100% agreed. That is the sole reason why I don't buy AA hoodies.

Thirding this. I don't know what the best is but I do know AA are trash even compared to the average hoodie.

Saul Silver's Avatar "From what I've seen/heard Wings + Horns is great. American Apparel makes cheap, decent hoodies that are great for just lounging around in." why do people say this? do you have clothes you "lounge around" in that are somehow inferior to those you are not lounging in? i dont... it makes no sense. why buy cheap **** to "lounge around" in when you can buy real clothes to WEAR? just curious

Would you wear your Wings and Horns hoodie to shovel snow? Go to the mail box? Watch the game on TV during winter?

I know I wouldn't wear a nice expensive hoody (well expensive to me) for those reasons.

Urban Outfitters had some nice hoodies by Charles and 1/2 for a while, there. I think I have one somewhere in the dark recesses of my closet...

I gotta agree with the other gents and say W+H. They are just too good for their own good.

If you can afford it you can afford to ******* up. Its a hoodie, what's the worst that can happen?

^ And I highly doubt a W+H hoodie will easily rip or become damaged. The quality is just too strong. So unless you, like, wrestle lions for a living, I'd say you're fine.

Don't forget Great China Wall. Pretty much the exact same design, just 10x the price. It's awesome!

True enough. Same thing can be said for a suit. It's just a "suit" or any piece of clothing for that matter. To each his own

I have a hoodie from Old Navy that I rather like. It fits pretty slim, and it's a really thin, slightly stretchy material. I probably wear it more than my AA hoodie (I haven't had any problems with the zipper on the AA hoodie, but I have on an AA track jacket, which is pretty

).

I have a W+H, but I think Tim Hamilton makes one that is (at least) on par.
