made two recipes from the dean and deluca cookbook (with some personal tweaks) last night. olive mashed potatoes: russet and red and white potatoes (left the skin on the red and whites) boiled in salted water with basil leaves and peeled lemon zest. mashed with young green olive oil and chopped green olives. topped with pepper and fleur de sel. some indian thing i can't recall the name of: substituted shallots for the onion, browned them in a sauce pan. added fresh ground coriander, fenugreek, cloves, cumin, minced garlic, chopped tomatoes, and chickpeas. topped with cilantro, salt and pepper. white and red figs with honey and taleggio for dessert. for anyone in los angeles, i highly recommend going to spice station: http://www.spicestationsilverlake.co...apr-18-10.html

^^ You are eating on a marble floor next to a large, pink double headed marital aid? Amirite?

you get your freshness from soy milk, I get my freshness from a thousand dollar pair of shoes on my feet.
