. And the E65 was introed that year, too. I think it's a mix, but definitely better than now with the //M trucks and minivans.

Agree, but while BMW might have lost some of their edge since the E39 and E36/46 days, even the X5/6 M's still have a phenomenal engine and drivetrain, which is something that can't be said about the AMGs and Ss. If they manage to lower weights, as their CEO promises, the F series cars could again be a treat.

Of all things, the one I'm excited about is the Megacity. Maybe because it's pushing the technology and packaging in such different directions than their current MO of piling on more weight, and adding bigger engines and tires to deal with it.
