Does the S8, having the Gallardo'ish engine, require as many clutch changes as the Gallardo e-gear? i.e. $6K in parts every 10K miles?

Holy shit only 18k miles I'm amazingly jealous. When I was like 12 I would stare at that car for hours and hours on BMW's website. That was my dream color combination too.

Just back from five weeks of work, mainly re-chroming bumpers/overriders/hub caps; new Mota-Lita wheel (not correct, but pretty); add MP3 jack to stereo; tighten up doors; adjust steering (much tighter); five new tyres (nothing wrong with last ones, but at 10 years old, time for a replacement); replace a fuel tank; full service; new rev counter unit.

Stunning. And major props for keeping an old Jag on the road.
This is one reason why I went with an S8 - sure its not nearly as much of a race car as an M5 but is far less common, and, more importantly, the interior is far, far superior to a BMW. I was also pleasantly surprised to find it more reliable overall than my BMWs (although of course not a statistically significant sample). For a luxury sport sedan, can't beat the S8 for right balance of quality, luxury and sport.
Wait, I've seen like one M5 ever. They are...common where you live?

[IMG] It's quite a bit less stylish than today's thrift store finds. Oh well, my truck runs solid, is easy to work on, and cost $500.

Beautiful car, and one of my all time favorites. The car is barely broken in with so few miles on it.

Nice looking car; I am amazed an 8 or 9 year old car only has 18,000 miles.. Must have been a church car.. [IMG]

Would love to see more pictures of this if you get the chance..

No way! A solid, honest old truck is always stylish!

It always cracks up my fellow Chicagoans when I tell them the "church car" isn't a myth; people in the South still do this. There's a lady across the street from my aunt that has a mint 97 Lincoln Town car (silver over black) that doesn't move except for Sunday; she's got ~7,000 miles on it.
