Man of Kent - you always look well put together but I believe chinos with tweed are incongruous. Flannels or cavalry twill would look much more appropriate. Chinos look fine as a casual look or in summer with with a linen or such-like jacket (even with a tie, as Italians are fond of).
As a perfect reference see Vox's last post with the blue jacket and chinos.
For once he got it right.
PS: Can we start a competition to guess how many suits, jackets, shirts etc Vox actually owns?. Maybe he has a warehouse for his superfluous stuff like Cary Grant did.

Thanks MoK - Yes, although the sunlight pronounces them a bit stronger. I like it because I have never seen anything quite like it.

Very likeable. The pocket square is a bit over the top, but love the rest.

Bon weekend!

As I'm sure you've heard before, I think the jacket is too short. I also think you are not comfortable in your clothes, in spite of the overall positive image. It doesn't make much sense to me either.

Rob

I obviously quoted the wrong photo for that point. Have at me.

The entirety of post-war East Coast academia begs to differ.

How do you figure I'm not comfortable? I'm fine by the short jacket...

That was a bit of an odd comment, as to me you always look very "comfortable" in your clothes. In any event, that is often hard to tell from a picture on the interwebz. Looks great to me.

Carry on.

Cool. But it seems you're trying to bridge two asthetics and the result suffers. Rob
