What about knit trousers? Or a drapey (yet slim) soft trouser? It's easy to say sweats vs. jeans but what about when the line starts blurring? There is so much in the pant spectrum between APC New Standard and juicy sweats. People should loosen up. They'll probably enjoy clothing/fashion/style more
Totally agree. While I'm not a huge sweatpants fan myself, I'm interested in experimenting with the style more. I can imagine certain styles of sweats looking good in the right context. For example I've seen pictures of unique Julius sweatpants modeled on Japanese web sites that didn't look anything like "gym" or "homeless" wear. I tend to think that nearly any piece can look good in the right context. But I won't claim to always know what that context is.

Nah man, you don't need to look slovenly.

If the point of wearing sweats is the comfort, than what does it matter if they make your ass look good?

Also, LOL @ asking for sweatpant suggestions that compliment your ass.

I've been looking for some Adidas sweatpants, no elastic around the ankles, for around the house.

No he doesn't, take it from someone whose actually seen them IRL.

My take on "nice sweat pants" is I just kind of lump them into the same category as kind of drapey, soft pants (like Yohji pants), and I've been looking for a pair to just be able to lounge around in.

so does anyone own the boo sweatpants? ive come upon a bit of gilt credits and im quite tempted by the idea of luxe sweatpants that would be easy to put on in the mornings or while lounging around while still looking decent (0)

I wear sweatpants out on a semi-frequent basis, but I have no pretenses of "looking good" while doing so. It's more of a utilitarian "I should probably put pants on when I go outside for a bit."
