I love Acorn's stuff. I have never come across any other companies that are nearly accessable as Acron, unfortunately. Their pinpoint is indestructable.

Thomas Mason has some excellent light blue pinpoints, royal oxfords, and poplins. Have also heard great things about Acorn, and have had good experiences, though my experience with their fabrics is entirely incidental (i.e., through purchase of RTW shirts made with their cloth).

I like my blue twill shirts a lot--but I only like very, very fine twills. The thicker wale ones are maybe my least favorite shirting of all.Originally Posted by mafoofan

Foo, who is the maker of your fine twill shirting?
I seem to remember Sterling G recommending a fine twill from Alumo (Soprano, I believe it was called).
From Acorn there are two fine(r) twills; Kent and Prince - I like the look of the Sky Prince.
