Catch-up:
My experience is that it's all about the collar itself - a good combination of structure and shape (particularly height). I don't use any kind of stay when going tie-less (see post below for an example).
I'm liking all your post so far. Very casual but well done.

This has always been a problem for me. Especially with the shorter collars like on that RLBL shirt. Are Wurkin Stiffs the only option? Normal collar stays don't really do anything..the collar still slips under the lapel eventually.Originally Posted by sexandcandy

The Borrellis are 8" at the cuff...not wideloads at all. Not sure why the look like Rod Stewart specials in the the side shot.
As for the cuffs: I'm not going to let their temporary SF niche steal my 1930s/1980s mojo. They're my cuffs and they'll stay my cuffs.
