BTW, how did you manage to not wrinkle the sleeves? Even if all the wearing you had was from your house to where this photo was taken, I'd imagine a linen jacket would show a lot more wrinkle. Is it the same secret that's keeping you wrinkle free at your age?

My experience is that it's all about the collar itself - a good combination of structure and shape (particularly height). I don't use any kind of stay when going tie-less (see post below for an example).

I'm liking all your post so far. Very casual but well done.

Menco Nieuwenhuis, perchance?

Off work early to go and have stiches pulled out of my shoulder... Beautiful sunny weather, so I thought I'd bring these linen/cotton plaid check trousers out of stasis...

The Borrellis are 8" at the cuff...not wideloads at all. Not sure why the look like Rod Stewart specials in the the side shot.

As for the cuffs: I'm not going to let their temporary SF niche steal my 1930s/1980s mojo. They're my cuffs and they'll stay my cuffs.

I wrinkle on the inside, like a saint or one of those kids that result when Zeus screws an animal.

People have stolen all the other terms I've coined, like MBT and the verb "foof." "Yawn," though, is indeed copyrighted.

You'll be hearing from my attorney, Big A, once he's done motorboating his new assistant.
