Ask a shoe repair shop. You want something that sticks but ultimately can be peeled up. It shouldn't permanently bond the insert to the moc construction underneath. Why? So that you can have your shoes worked on (ex: soles replaced) when the time comes.

Basically, lined means an extra layer of leather lining on the inside of your shoes. The lining gives the moc a relatively more substantial feel (relatively more shape, stiffer, thicker ...). It costs more. Sockless wearers seem to have a decided preference for unlined. Perhaps someone else could confirm or deny that unlined mocs are little more 'traditional' whereas lined mocs are one step further away from being a traditional moc and a bit more like a 'shoe.'

I ordered the regular 3 eyelet boat shoe last year, got it in two months or so.

Also which ones do peeps prefer:

You can't go wrong with either one. I picked up the bluchers last year and have been loving them ever since. If I didn't already have them, I don't think I could choose between those two options -- just flip a coin.
