If you haven't already, read dopey's comments at Lifestyle Lounge about a swell recent experience that he had at the Carlyle.

You could almost time the countdown to one of the respondents, complete with tangential points.

Aaah ... to have the time to follow all the inside jokes.

This brings me to a theory I have been bouncing around in my head for a while - The Elusive SF Approved Interview suit. For all the talk you see of it on the boreds, I think the key can be boiled down to this: Look good enough at the interview, but make certain you don't get the job, so you can remain at home reading SF all day. Or something like that ...

I scraped my shoe on the underside of my desk this morning, hence the scuffs on the right foot. I've since brushed it out.

You don't happen to have a spare length of that hopsack left, do you? Also, I really like the trouser length and cuff size on you.

But, in my opinion, you are right about MBT and Steed pieces (of clothing, that is) needing to be compared in equal circumstances (light, season, camera angle, distance) in order to be able to fully appreciate the Steed numbers. All things considered, they couldn't be any more different to me. Quarters, overall length, details "” all of these appear totally differently motivated.

My mind could be fooled, though: I looked at these god-damned gemmed shoes before writing the above comment.

Or it could just be the camera angle + the colour of the pants.

Who knows.
