Resurrecting a somewhat older thread for advice.

I really got a hankering for a nice pair. Not the crappy rubber sole stuff but something like what Tom at Leathersoul offered, which quickly were all sold

I'm willing to even go MTM with either EG or G&G. Gonna wear them in the warmer months.

Any suggestions about what lasts work best?

I like my Brooks Brothers saddle shoes so much, despite their terrible quality, that I'm going to order a pair from G&G the next time I see them. A couple of pics, one, an interesting take from an Edward Green trunk show, the other, a pic of me in mine.

This is taking saddle shoes out of the saddle and to another level

They look nice but I'm not to keen on how the saddle goes straight across in the front.

I had my doubts too with the pictures, but in real life they are not bad. I got them with a discount so that was extra nice.

These saddle shoes are so distinctive that I'm probably wearing them once every two weeks during the spring/summer/early fall months only.
