Building furniture, I mean.

A friend of my wife's makes furniture and was laid off from her small company about 9 months ago. Can't find similar work anywhere.

I was at the other side of the gym half-way through my set, so couldn't see clearly; especially when looking straight-on to the rack. By the time I got close enough to realize what he did, he was long gone from the gym. Idiot.

Haha yeah, it was a tip my friend/trainer told me about to get that extra oomph to my squats. I can barely stand by the end of the sets.

Ever since that Vizio ad during the Super Bowl, I've had Numa Numa stuck in my head.

Make. It. Stop.

I guess it's not horrible, and though the 1000 side is pretty straight (just a hair convex - I can slide a piece of paper in under the center) the 6000 side is pretty convex, but that's just the polishing side.

I don't know if it's worth it to return the damned thing to Amazon; it was like $35. Am I going to ruin my knives on this thing?

Douglas,

Probably won't ruin your knives but getting a consistent bevel will be tricky. I think having it rock as you use it would get really old, really fast though. Would return, but whatever you do get, I'd expect to have to flatten it before use.

I woke up this mourning with my hands cut up, a large cut, a few bruises and what looks like teeth marks on my stomach, what seems to be someone else's blood on my right hand, a bruise underneath my right eye and a girl screaming at me on the phone and I can't remember any of it.
