For me I am surprise Turnbull & Asser make this, this look better to the usual they make 6mm for collar! But the placket look ugly, stitch so close to button!
For me my shirtmaker make smoking shirt edge stitch collar and cuff, all other shirt he make for me is 3mm, what I request!

The placket is fine; the edge stitched collars are a diufferent thing, do not understand why anyone likes such a thing. 1/4 inch stitching looks much nicer in my opinion.

Suggestion: Order some heavyish oxford cloth shirts in the same collar

good stuff,are you using default collars or asked them to modify anything?

I agree,collar looks low and may not roll correctly. Sid can make a higher collar though,I like the spread collar though,it is nice enough.
