not sure if I would have went with the striped sweater. Clashes too much with the jacket. I mean you've already got vertical stripes form the shirt and plaid form the jacket so horizontal stripes is a it much.
I agree with you there. Lately I've found myself focusing on the wrong things when putting clothes together--or rather focusing exclusively on one thing, like color, and neglecting other important concerns, like patterns. I think I've gotten into the habit of looking at my wardrobe and being like, "ok these colors work together and I dig these pieces so lets get dressed and get the hell to school," and then assume that just because the colors work (and even that is debatable in my last pic) that the composition works as a whole and I look good. This is obviously not the case, as I'm beginning to learn through this forum. I think I need to slow down, open my eyes a bit wider and be more judicious with my pairings. Thanks for the feedback, man.
the neck area and collar and **** looks far off to me
I hadn't noticed this. How can I improve this and how would an oxford/v-neck pairing ideally look?
