Thanks,

I have found simplifying my look quite pleasing to my eye. I have learned quite a bit in my short time on this thread.

Today.

My own personal "rule" for pant length is that when standing up straight, the pants should touch the tongue and back topline of the shoe.

Aeglus seems to apply the same criteria:

No pics from the past couple of days, work has been frantic and they were suit combinations that you've seen before.

I managed to briefly meet up with Barims and Neofinita for a quick hello on my way back from a conference which was good. Great guys in life as well as on here. A photo might appear at some point...

I won't comment on all the great fits over the past couple of days, but special mentions to TC's lifestyle pics, PG's accessorizing, Niidawg's gingham, Trini's new SC and HF's Bowtie combo. I've left many good looks uncommented upon...

Though certain stylistic elements cater to a different taste to mine, this is a really, really nice suit. The jacket shape is particularly beautiful.

I agree (and I don't usually think this about other Vox pants).

All my Steed trousers are cut to fall the same way, but they are cut to be worn with suspenders. The ones that don't have high/English/fishtail backs have side adjustors, and I often wear them without suspenders. But, when I do that, they can migrate a bit. Here's the same length, but after a lot of walking and without thinking about adjusting them for the pic, without suspenders:

Here's a pic braced:

Here's a pic unbraced, but with the cuffs falling where I like.

I like the cuffs touching the shoe, and producing one small break. I like to show sock when I'm walking, nonetheless.

It's just easier to put on the trousers and play with the side adjustors, but with the brace-cut trousers being looser at the waistband than pants cut for a belt, it introduces variability that would not exist if I wore them with suspenders. I really I should be wearing suspenders with each.

This has me thinking about a OneBrace™ that I can get for each pair of Steeds and leave on them when they are hung...because frankly, the late lamented cat gut ends are a PITA to put on and take off.

Great suit. To my eye length looks best here. Slightly longer leg makes the outfit look softer, even more comfortable.

. The pictures you refered to has a perfect length to me. Where does one let the pants stop to get that look? Also i am thinking of tapering the pants to 19 cm to get a sleeker look.
