shoe heels wear out unevenly

hello, I have a problem with my shoes. I find the left part of the heel wears out much faster than the right causing my shoes to look awkward after a while. how do I fix this? do I need orthoticssomething?Originally Posted by netsua

The lateral side is the same side as the pinky. Now...having said that...which side of your heels are wearing down? Generalizing... If you are wearing down the medial side, you are pronating badly and probably should see a doctor about it. If you are wearing down the lateral side, you may need some correction or an orthotic. If you are wearing in the rear lateral corner you are pretty normal for an adult of European descent.

Generalizing...
