I was wondering why I hadn't worn these trousers in so long. Now I remember: great, soft cotton, but they wrinkle like there's no tomorrow...

Great fit on the jacket and I like the proportions of the trousers to the jacket.

Colors are a matter of personal taste, but that sweater is too bulky to be worn under a sport coat, IMHO.

Is that a trick question? (Paging Mr. Moo...)

In any case, nope -- Loro Piana, sack-ish, Coarsehair Cashmere.

Thanks guys. I thought the half windsor was a good option with the cutaway collar

Wifey didn't take any full length shots unfortunately. Next time I wear that suit (I rarely wear suits) I'll post a full length.

Well proportioned, looks great and the swath of lovat adds a level of sophistication oft overlooked around here.

I see what you guys mean about the picture, there is that dark valley that looks like a very full thigh, all I can say is that I really like the look of deep pleats, and the pants don't feel so full IRL. I paused to examine myself in a public lavatory (thankfully, I was alone) and the pants looked fine to me.

Here are some others cut from the same pattern, but worn with no coat:

Sometimes I just think certain styles don't translate into photos well. In fact, i think every photo can't hold a candle to the actual garment and its wearer IRL. We all look "good" here, but in real life action, we are even better. You can't feel the depth of clothing in photos.
