i had bun bo hue with the pigsfoot and blood . quite glorious.

Indeed! I need to find a place to kop some around here. Even Eden Center's bun bo hue was just meh.

hmmm, there was a place in eden that had some bomb bun bo hue, but it got shut down due to health code violations

I've also been looking for a legit mi quang. Had it at 2-3 places in/near Eden Center -- all were disappointments.

yeah i only somewhat like mi quang so it really isnt go-to for me. i dont really remember any good places in NoVA, however, just to rub it in, there is this amazingly good place here in milpitas. they make great hu tieu too

i crock potted a 7lb beef shank in red wine, tomatoes, rosemary and beef stock. was delicious.

I pressure cooked a 6 lb chuck roll in white wine, tomatoes, beef stock, sachet, and mirepoix.

LULZ it was for family meal tomorrow dawg. I can't put down a single pound of beef, let alone 6.
