If it's under 90 proof, I drink it neat. If it's over, I will usually splash a little water in there, Fiji or Voss. I don't get too scientific, just splash some in there. I try not to use ice on higher proof bourbons as the cold seems to affect the body, and I find it tastes better as close to room temperature as I can get it..
