My new Kenmoors just arrived.
Are the Kenmoors corrected grain or full grain?
I am one person who has to adhere to a strict budget.
+1 I did exactly this. I'm wearing my burgundy Kenmoors right now. Fit is true to size. The ones I own are the current (India) ones, yet still they are great shoes. Stiff at first, but they do get better after a few weeks break-in. Love them.
Can anyone answer if the current Florsheim Kenmoors are corrected grain or full grain?
I saw a couple of pairs at a Florsheim store yesterday, the black and burgundy are corrected grain, but there are also a couple of scotch-grain varieties.
I picked up a pair of the pebbled cognac Kenmoor's this afternoon at the Factory Store. I can't wait to sport them tomorrow. I would have grabbed the a pair in the burgundy as well, but they didn't have my size.
There is also the Loake Royals. Anyone have any experience with those?
I just found a pair of AE Richmonds at a local thrift store for $10.00. I had em recrafted.
Yes, I believe so. They are the first pair of shoes that I've had recrafted by AE. I have not yet received them in the mail, so I can't say for sure. The photos I submitted are ones sent from AE.
did the burgundy's look plasitc-y? How much did you pay for them at the Factory store?
I just ordered Kenmoors for US$159 from the outlet. Pretty cheap experiment in longwings.
