To echo dmash: coated cotton will run you more than $200 as well.

How's the quality on Fred Perry sneakers? I was thinking about getting those or Tretorns. Which shoe is of better quality? Thanks.

EDIT: If I am a size 12 in Jack Purcells, what size would I be in either Tretorns or Fred Perrys?

Question about a belt:

A full-grain black leather belt. Do I have to do anything in terms of maintenance (polishing?), or just wear it?

Trust me, I thought the same thing too...just read around the forums man, this place is LOADED with info

those shirts should not even be compared with each other. they are two totally different styles. all broadcloth is thin, doesnt mean it sucks. i personally dont care too much for express but ive seen much worse construction on much higher priced shirts. the idea that a shirt has to cost $200 to be acceptable is just wrong. not everyone has a couple grand to piss away on clothes all at once. if you can find a shirt for $35 that fits ok and spend $10 on alterations to make it fit great then do it

Well an Express button up retails new for 59.50.....you can find used Gitman for 50-60...I was just saying that the latter of the two would be a MUCH better choice.

I stand corrected though. My mistake.

i wasnt trying to call you out personally, and youre probably right about the used stuff. i just dont like it when people are made to believe they cant dress well within their means.

Good luck. I was looking around the last few weeks and didn't find any. Even asked Mike and he said they wouldn't be getting any more this season (though you can certainly still try that route).

The smallest I was able to find was a 29 at Four Horsemen.

Where can I get an O/U neck tshirt like this? I know W+H had some but they're a bit pricey for me.

Where I live, the best place to get clothes other than online is a mall store like J Crew, Gap, or H&M. What's the best way to find out when these stores have sales so I can get cheap basics?

Anyone have any clever ways of covering up stitched-in branding? Covering up a pony on a RL hoodie, for example. Seems like a longshot, but you all seem like a creative bunch!

After it ages a bit and starts seeming dry or cracked, then yeah of course rejuvinate it with some type of oil, but until then I'd say let it be.
