^ I just missed out on a deadstock 36x36 pair of 55s on ebay, maybe that is better though since I am a 34" waist. I thought that they were supposed to shrink two inches in the waist, but now it seems like I should try to find a pair in my size. Is that correct?

55's are oversized by 2 inches, so a 34 would measure a 36. From what i've heard, you can size down and they give you a good fit, correct me if im wrong.

My 1947s at...i think this was at the 5 month mark. The knee fades are crazy, they are starting to wear through now.

It's kinda funny, they didn't come with rivets, except the hidden rivets. At first i was kinda pissed, but now i actually like how they look. It's different. and it didn't effect anything either, nothing ripped, they are completely fine.

For the sake of clarity, for a not too baggy fit, you can buy your actual waist size AS MEASURED and you will be fine. The waist will stretch and there will still be room around the thighs.

If you're a 32 W, like me, in the old days you would buy a 32W. (I could have downsized at least one inch fomr there, if you look at the two jeans compared above.

If they're part of the new production run, you should probably buy a 30W. But it's much better to check with your dealer and get them to verify the actual, measured size for you. Cultizm are always happy to do this, I hear.

LVCs are my favorite. Working on a pair of 47s (about 7 months in). Have another pair of 47s and a pair of 66s waiting in the wings.

Oh, and I believe Blake in Portland carries LVC...

I know this is the LVC thread, but since there isn't an active thread about Levi's really, thought I'd ask in here. Anyone tried the new "Imprint" jeans? I was at the Levi's Store at Michigan Ave in Chicago yesterday and saw these for $80. Based on the 514 cut, supposedly they have some crazy fast fading properties. Here's a post on SuFu with a little more info, if it's kosher to link here: http://www.superfuture.com/supertalk...d.php?t=155077 I sort of want to try them out but not sure if I need more jeans.
