Yes i ordered them through an MTM program. I'm meeting some of the people from Finamore tomorrow. Might order couple new shirts, but i'm not sure what kind of dessins.

I was considering an end on end in blue ( no contrasting cuffs) since i don't have one yet. Now my question is: Are these shirts considered to be dressier than lets say a poplin/twill? Haven't seen much of them on this board.

What do the big timers say like Whnay and Eustace?

On edit: Deleted my question about pricing. Did a Google search (about $375 OTR).

This is my first shirt bought at Il Pantheon, a lovely store in Oslo, Norway. It`s a MTM Francesco Merolla, and compared to my MTM Zegnas, this is in another leauge. Does anyone know anything about this shirt maker?

There is a well respected shirtmaker called Merolla & de L'Ero out of Naples - not sure if Francesco Merolla is realted somehow.

Good move! End-on-end is my favorite material for blue or pink shirts. It is dressy enough to be worn with a formal suit yet it has a lot more visual texture so you can wear it with tweeds, corduroy, linens with greater success than poplins IMO. If I could have only one shirt, it would be a spread collared end-on-end blue with single button cuffs.

Two mafoo specials, because you can never have enough blue shirts. On the right, the butcher stripe he had in his avatar for so long; though mine is Testa, not Riva. On the left something Alumo calls "satin" though it is obviously not satin, but a nice slightly textured weave, subtler than royal oxford. Geneva could not get S&G chambray, so this is my substitute for that, and it's not bad.

Does she really do bespoke? To my knowledge, she simply has Rayner & Sturges make all her shirts, and while they seem to do a competent made-to-measure they're not really bespoke, are they?
