A $500 ice cream cone is not one that I can afford to eat.

There's no duality here. Ugly is ugly, no matter how you feel when you're in it.

The exchange rate is most attractive at the moment. I don't know if you have used his services, but Tom Park is a great resource for all things EG and seems to get consistently quick turnaround from Northampton.

You're right about collecting, my office furniture doth bulge with shoe boxes yet to be taken home.

How's this? Loafer timeline:

1836: Elastic gusset town shoe invented

1900: Aurland shoe (moccasin front loafer) from Norway exhibited at the Paris Expo.

1932: The Spauldings in NH invent the term "loafer" to describe their remake of the Aurland

1934: The Basses in Maine create the Weejun.

1951: Alden invents the tassel loafer.

1966: Gucci introduces the horsebit moccasin loafer.

2009: Matt needs shoes.

Maybe you should go into internet couples counseling, like Manton+FNB, or thekunk07+his right hand.
