I am in need of some casual boots and am eying a few different types. I was originally sold on the desert boots but after seeming them in person, they felt kinda cheap and I wasn't all that impressed by the way they looked on me. Right now, I'm looking at some Australian made polo boots and a pair of r.m williams. In addition, I love the look of a few pair of paul smith boots but they are abit out of my price range. I've also looking at rider boots which are on sale right now but I'm not that crazy about the styles are are on sale. Does anyone else have any recommendations? I've seen the boot thread but thought someone might have some suggestions based on what I'm looking at. I'm looking at spending around 250 and will be wearing these with various crate/apc jeans.

A good looking boot but... CP has no business making true dress shoes/boots. Stick with RM Williams, their quality is supposed to be incredible. MC will have more knowledge on this.

http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?p=281152 I just got a pair of RMW Comfort Turnouts from fellow sfer jbw. Goddamn, they're nice. I like them. See the OP in the thread linked above for sizing info. Already thinking about getting a pair of Comfort Craftsmen in Suede, when I can afford them.

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I am going to go with the B543 Craftsman at only 220 shipped seems like a great deal for a nice boot.

Where are you getting the RM Williams from? Are there free return policies? Link me =)

I've got a pair of Johnston & Murphy black chelseas that I love but the RM's def look alot better with the slightly smaller sole, chiseled toe, and looks like wholecut? I'd like to invest in a pair after my J&M's wear out.
