I wouldn't say we're complete opposites. She is definitely more conservative than myself. On social issues I'm left of center, while on economic issues I'm right of center. We tend to get into most of our arguements regarding race, class, or gender. I try and ignore some comments she makes, but sometimes I feel they're a bit too much. She tends to think that I "get on my high horse," but I think she's just feeling bad about some of the generalizations she makes.

I use to date a conservative christian girl and it ended up being a major deal breaker... when you have differing views on sexuality (abortion etc) it's difficult to a have a physical relationship.
Current girlfiend and I are both godless liberals and couldn't be happier.

She pretends to be Republican, I pretend to be a Democrat. We have the same positions on about 99% of issues (the only contentious issue we've discovered is abortion, which, much to our chagrin, neither of us can quite figure out how we feel about).

I've listened to my mom and dad argue over politics my entire life, still yelling at almost 80 years old, mostly my mom yelling now and dad watching TV. I made sure I married a woman with similar views. Holding a relationship together is already challenging enough.

Actually, there are a lot of hot GOP gals. Many of whom were at the RNC and some of whom I spotted on television. Of course, it helps that the ones I know are from Arizona and that delegation was right up front.
