hello,

If it's actually from Paul Stuart (he doesn't post a picture of the label, and I'll be damned if I read through his absurd listing), it's not the Gianluca line. Isaia, according to Aportnoy, makes the Stuart's Choice line suits. Would be top quality, full canvas. For the price, a steal.

The Gianluca line is fine, but the fusing I've seen is a little thick. Varies by garment, it seems. Not always worth the price it commands, in my opinion.

thanks !!

L'uomo Vogue is close to our house in Michigan, in a shopping center anchored by Kroger. Everything there is shiny and expensive. The (late) John Gotti could have bought Brioni there. Claymore Shop a few miles east is the place to go for Michigan retail, even though they charge $5,000 or more for an Oxxford MTM suit.

Looks like a (pretty old) Polo suit to me.

There was a brief period right before Purple Label was launched as a separate line where purple background Polo labels were used. But they were a dark purple, and the colour balance in the photos is too bad to tell if that one is correct. Also, they usually had Made in England labelling too, which that one doesn't seem to.

So, while there's a tiny chance that it may be a pre-PL "purple label", the odds are but greater that it's Polo. Regardless, it looks pretty dated.

I just (yesterday) received a Sartorio suit from the seller
It's mostly as advertised and fits great, though the color and pattern seem a little different than described
was supposed to be gray check or beige gray.. suit seems a bit on the medium to light brown without gray and has a beige pinstripe
I asked him to see if possibly the wrong suit was sent and the seller is looking into it and seems eager to make sure that I'm pleased
My problem is that I love the way it fits, so will probably keep it anyway (poor me)
supposedly, the other Sartorio suit that I have that I picked up through B&S was purchased through him as well
