Really though, this is the same sensationalism and irresponsible journalism that hurts people. Michelle Williams has come out and openly denied similar rumors about their breakup and any drug ultimatums recently. And the video of Heath Ledger "at the drug party" this article references, doesn't mention that he never does drugs during the video, and indeed, he talks about the tattoos of his girlfriends and daughter's name that he got to remind him "never to smoke pot again".

Yeah, you're right -- they shouldn't report stuff "insiders" aren't willing to put their names to. I took it for granted that the source was credible, which was... really stupid.

It was a double entendre. "Why So Serious?" is the tagline for Heath Ledger's Joker, in the new Batman movie. Not sure whether you caught that or not.

Its just sort of a touchy subject with me since Heath was a "friend of a friend". I'm sure everyone is holding their breath for the toxicology reports, and if he was doing drugs, he was doing drugs. Unfortunately, people have been wanting to write this off as an OD since the beginning, even though every single drug angle to the story keeps getting shot down. Why unnecessarily tarnish his memory? Especially when people are still grieving? I hate it when the Media feels compelled to MAKE a story to sell itself. Personally, I'm hoping it wasn't drugs. I know how heartbroken my friend, and I assume his family would be, if he was hiding an addiction.

Ah, so it is. I did not catch that. I have now. Nicely done.
