We can see you hiding the price tag, and that you are obviously trying it on, and have never worn a suit before (you bottomed button). It's for show, not use.
Jacket is disproportional for your torso shape. Buttons too low and waist patch pockets too small/anemic.
UPR_CRUST: Thanks for your helpful response. I appreciate the jacket and shirt combo is a bit much for most, and I would be unlikely to wear this exact pairing out. The response to Etro shirts is pretty fierce around here - it certainly seems that one avenue of style dominates.
Re: the french cuff/barrel cuff suggestions you've been getting, I wouldn't worry. You have a very baroque approach to dressing which naturally takes to french-cuff shirts and a lot of echoing/co-ordination of colours through the look, with little riffs of the day's theme throughout. I don't think anyone could ever say that you dress badly (occasional over-large suit aside, most of which you've whittled out of your wardrobe now), only that you have a hyper-ornate approach that conflicts with a minimalist/stealthy approach that is advocated by a lot of others and which is more in tune with current tastes. It is not a modern or sleek look by any means, but it is internally coherent and I suspect probably suits what you want to project about yourself.

Going back to photo basics with just one full-length pic, and one close-up. Might eliminate the close-up in future, too (open to persuasion on this either way)
Then the recruiter I'm meeting for lunch is also working from home and just told me to wear jeans.
And yes, I buttoned both buttons.
Something about the shape is off. I think it might be the shape of the notch.
Taking a hard look at it, I will have to agree with you gentleman. I really love the pattern of the material, and as such, I overlooked some of the details when I first saw it. I think the pockets are the biggest problem as they just look wrong to my eye.
Here comes Nii to %'s rescue in 5...4...3....
O/O = color and texture matching are, as always, impeccable and you are truly an inspiration on that front. The acutal fit though.....it just looks way too big through the mid-section of the suit. I understand not everyone is into the slim look (or even should be) but this just doesn't look like it fits right.

I love intensely patterned ties like this, but find them quite hard to work them into a coherent look. I am taking notes.
