Looks just a little tight esp. on the thighs but hopefully that will work itself out with some wear. The tightness plus the arcs, and maybe even the cuffs, all make the jeans look a little girlish to me at the moment.

have you been able to get them to stretch at all in the upper-thigh? they look super tight in that area.

Seriously, dude, you're thinking of RRL "low straights". RRL has many "straight leg" models which are classic and traditional high rise fits.

Well...there are the low straights with a low rise, the slims with a low rise, and the slim boots with a low rise, so...those three models that I've seen in person and handled (and have heard referenced most frequently outside of a super-duper workwear-type model or two) kind of led me to believe that their jeans were a little bit on the low-rise end of the spectrum.

Ergo my question, "Don't their cuts have pretty low rises?" instead of an unequivocal statement along the lines of "ZOMFG!!1!!1! RRLs are so lo-rise they SUKK, don't by them!!1!"

With jeans too tight and shoes too shiny, what's not to love?

I'm thinking of getting a pair of Flat Head Balder jeans for my collection...

I've never had unsanforised denim before...

Is it very hard to break them in??:)
