Dude doesn't even own a plate, it goes beyond buying minimalist furniture. Hell my interior is relatively minimal, well I got some carpets.

Not sure what you're friend is into, but in the context of people interested in style on here, I refer you to--yourself. "I don't get how people so into clothing can have mediocre Ikea-ized places (very common in here and Sufu). Also, always get at least one decent lamp, they really do make the room

Oh I agree (with myself), middle of the road design for people obsessed with aesthetics kills me. I meant you don't have to have an interior full OG pieces but please, lay off the Ikea insta-visual culture laminated posters and ugly, flabby couches. Go ghetto, go tasteful, go whatever but not this generic suburban america pottery barn ****. My friend wears Ann, Haider Ackermann, Old Dior, some Thom Browne, some old Raf and likes Nike hi-tops too. Everything is black, grey and white and he knows his design/art/whatever and works in one of those fields so I guess the interior makes sense. ps: sent you a PM, check this **** out.

clutter and footwear on rugs are very distracting from fit pics

What's your definition of "privileged" I just enjoy things i couldn't have growing up, but received with hard work.

i meant that people here are mostly doing alright if they're on a clothing message board, myself included. i definitely consider myself privileged and i'm not a rich man. point taken tho, and good on you for your work.

i'll say that i may have been a bit outta pocket yesterday coming at magician. sounded to me like he was playing rap music ironically and ripping on the artists at the same time. i don't think that was his intent, but it came off kinda foul to me when i read it.

Actually dogg Fuuma describes pretty much what I would be doing if I didn't live in a dorm room with another person right now; futon + a rotation of books + bowl + mug + laptop + good speakers + some prints from The Berliner Ensemble Thanks You All (If anyone has any Gorey or Daniel Torres prints that they aren't too attached to, please let me know). Maybe pillows or something? Probably some cookware? But I don't want it to be nice because I don't want to have to worry about it when I move; the ability to live a fairly uncomplicated, untethered life is important to me. Plus I wear my clothes all day, but I don't really spend much time in my room.

I'm into a large spectrum of creative stuff but fashion is the only element of that stuff I'm really interested in acquiring right now; plus also fashion lends itself to individual consumption because feel and fit are so important to each piece.

I had the awesomest dorm room. 15th floor, million dollar ocean and downtown views and decked it out with some pretty cozy stuff. Nothing baller, but I actually enjoyed spending time in there. Now the gf does all the in-home design because we can't afford to deck the place out in anything but pleb stuff.

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
