f1/2? Sweet -- I only shoot one lens that fast, a Noct-Nikkor 58mm, and I love it.

Interesting. Is there a reason you chose this brand over Blinder? ~ H

Blinder is now 2nd fiddle to Laser Interceptor - pretty much all independent and professional testing bears that out. The new Blinders will save you in 75% of situations, and they are a bit cheaper. However, if you get a "punch through" (when the laser gun gets a reading on the car) with a Laser Interceptor, something is wrong. Installed properly, it's literally close to 100% protection against every single laser gun out there. Plus, as I complete package I feel it's a bit more polished than the Blinder offerings (parking sensor switch, great computer software, incredible customer service from Cliff, etc). The Laser Interceptor uses true laser diodes to fire back, while Blinder uses LED's - you just can't duty cycle LED's fast enough or with enough power to compete with laser diodes. Of course, as I said that is reflected in the cost difference between them. I hang out at radadetector.net and there are a lot of guys there that own laser guns and do testing. I've even rented a couple of laser guns to test my setup personally (wanted to be sure I had no weak spots before I did some 12 hour trips). I've actually had a Laser Interceptor for a little over two years - that one in the picture above is an upgrade to the latest and greatest (I had a first generation unit that didn't have the user upgradeable firmware). Here's some pics of an install I did on my father's car for him about a few months back: http://www.radardetector.net/forums/...-audi-a8l.html

I date an architect, why would I ever go to DWR? By working directly with Cassina we will have it within the week (as long as I can be home for delivery) rather than the ridiculous 14-16 weeks with DWR. I didn't know DWR even sells Corb, actually.
