After 7 months in I am really enjoying these. I wear them 2-3 times a week to work. I took them as my only pair of shoes on a short trip last week that involved a night at the bar watching the Giants win the WS (wearing jeans), then the next day while giving a talk at a conference (wearing dressier pants), then missing a bus to the airport and taking the next bus with very little time to make my flight. I'm literally running through Denver airport, flying down the escalator, racing to the gate while I hear my name on the intercom for final boarding. Fun.

I'm thinking about buying these but I have a question. http://www.jcrew.com/mens_feature/we...lden/18582.jsp I don't see an equivalent one at The Shoe Mart: http://search.theshoemart.com/search...es_per_page-48 Are these exclusive to J.Crew? I also notice J.Crew now publishes which last it is on their site. It's the Barrie last.

It is just a MTO line that J.Crew had done and stocks. You could go to any Alden store and have a MTO done the same way, but probably pay more and wait 9 months.
